The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a challenging five-year framework for students aged 11-16. It encourages practical connections between studies and the real world, preparing students for the IB Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP). The MYP curriculum includes eight subject groups, ensuring a broad and balanced education. Optional MYP eAssessment in the final year provides IB-validated grades and the IB MYP Certificate. The MYP is inclusive and open to all students in authorized schools, fostering a whole-school approach to learning.
Approaches to Learning (ATL) are the skills that help students "learn how to learn." They are practiced across all subjects and provide a solid foundation for success in school and in life after school. The five main categories of ATL skills are:
Thinking skills
Communications skills
Social skills
Self-Management skills
Research skills
